Add the capability to allow team members to reassign contracts already out for signature to a new team member

We need the ability to reassign contracts that are out for signature. This becomes important when an employee leaves the company, is on extended vacation etc. Not having this feature means we need to cancel and re-send contracts which causes confusion and delay with our customers.

EchoSign have advised me of a technique where you can change the email address of an existing account. It is not an elegant workaround but it may help. I have not tried it yet. It basically changes the owner of all agreements for email1 to email2. You cannot change them to the email of an existing account holder (shame). (In other words you are not moving the agreements to a new account - just renaming an account.)

Go to "Account, Users & Groups" click on the link for "Create or update users in bulk" and then click on the "learn more" link. The PDF contains instructions (sort of - put the new email in the "New Email Address" column. (Reminds of the sort of instructions found in Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy - not the sort of thing you would intuitively find - but there you have it.)

We are experiencing this same problem right now. I emailed EchoSign support to see if, as the Administrator, there was any way I could go in and send reminders or replace signees for some of our users, and the response I received was:

"Unfortunately, sharing the account only allows the document to be viewed. All of the reminders and cancellations can only be done by the originator or sender.
This can be circumvented by having access to the account."

If I had access to the account, I wouldn't be asking if there was a way I could do this as the Administrator. And besides, doesn't sharing passwords kind of defeat the purpose of having a "secure" way to get documents signed???

This suggestion would definitely be a nice feature to have.

In our organisation (and most that I'm aware of in Australia and the UK) agreements are between business entities not individuals. While it's true that individuals sign (and remind etc), it's the business that needs control over what's happening.

Consider the following: "Employee A" sends an agreement and then gets sick, goes on leave or leaves. The business cannot send a reminder, sign or even cancel because it is only "Employee A" who can do this.

The suggestion in this idea is to "...allow team members to reassign contracts...". In principle I agree but I believe it should be "***Allow Account/Group Admins to reassign the owner of the agreement***" OR "Allow Account/Group Admins the ability to act on behalf agreement owners".

I don't care much either way what the solution is. What we need is a solution to our current problem:
        * some of our agreements are left hanging just because someone is on leave.
        * this is business risk.
        * in the case of reminders we need to do this and record this outside the ES reporting.
        * in the case of signing we have to ... not sure ... what do we do? Phone the other parties and tell them to ignore it because we will be sending another one? (Whatever we have to do is embarssing and does help with client adoption).

This also causes undue burden when employees leave the company and we are unable to access signed contracts that are within their account. Currently our only option is to re-send the contract from another team member's account for signature and clients become wary of us when this happens.

This is a most for brokerage firms in the international market. This is because usuallly the broker dows not want to disclose the end buyer only after he has completed the NDNC section of the contract.

We have the same problem and we're using the API to send our document so all documents are sent out under 1 account, however that last person required to sign is no longer employed so we need a way to replace them in the signature process.

We have a similar issue. Colleagues have left the company and we still have open agreements out under their name. When the administrator deactivates their EchoSign access, there should be the option to reassign their open agreements to the Account Admin or another user for follow-up.
